Mr. Daniel Yang was born and raised in Nanjing, China, where he majored in biotechnology in college. He later obtained a master's degree from the National University. During the pandemic, he worried about his 3-year-old daughter's education. He learned about the Montessori education method and applied it with good results to his daughter's education. Later, he went to Montessori Institute San Diego (MISD) for more systematic and professional training. 

During his training, Mr. Daniel worked as a teaching assistant at Mission Bay Montessori Academy (MBMA). After graduating from MISD, he worked as a co-teacher in the same school. 

In his spare time, Mr. Daniel teaches Chinese at San Diego State University and enjoys taking his daughter to the zoo and various outdoor activities.
