Ms. Hina Patel was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. At 19, she moved to London to pursue a BA in Textiles and began her career in the fashion industry.

Later in her career, Ms. Hina decided to make a difference in children's lives. She relocated to San Diego to complete the AMI Primary Head Teacher Course at the Montessori Institute San Diego (MISD). For the past ten years, she has been teaching the Montessori Method in Thailand, India, and Spain. She has also completed Orton-Gillingham training to better support children with dyslexia.

In her spare time, she tutors dyslexic children in reading, writing, and spelling. She also enjoys baking and selling birthday cakes, traveling abroad out of curiosity, reading insightful books, painting with watercolors as a creative outlet, and her greatest passion—ocean swimming.
